Apparition — “an unusual or unexpected sight”. This piece manipulates squares by rotating and skewing them to make beautiful patterns. The resulting output resembles a mirage, dream, or trance-like state. I am fascinated by what we see (or don’t see) when our vision is blurred or our eyes are closed and hope that the collection produces many unexpected shapes and landscapes.
